Learn about the process behind Emma Wood's designs and production. Emma is a British-American weaver who graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2011. She has worked internationally across the textile industry in the UK, Germany and India, and she opened her Neukölln studio in 2013 after moving to Berlin. Each collection is carefully designed by Emma in Berlin, who then works with some of Britain's best wool textile manufacturers to produce the high quality Merino Lambswool cloth. The yarn is sourced from our spinner in Yorkshire, before being woven at the mill only 20 miles away, and is then finished by specialist textile finishers right nearby. The cloth is then sent back to the design studio in Neukölln, where each piece is handmade.

BEHIND THE SCENES : THE JOURNEY

Each collection is carefully designed by Emma in Berlin, who then works with some of Britain's best wool textile manufacturers to produce the high quality Merino Lambswool cloth.  The yarn is sourced from Yorkshire, and is then sent to the mill only 20 miles away.  The woven cloth then makes it's way another 20 minutes down the road to be finished by specialist textile finishers right nearby.

The completed cloth is then sent back to Emma's design studio in Neukölln, where each piece is carefully handmade.
